Liquidity Providing
AEK acts as a liquidity provider for various securities traded on NYSE Euronext Amsterdam, Brussels and Paris.
As a liquidity provider of a company, we will maintain a maximum spread of firm bid and offer prices during the fifteen minutes preceding the market opening and then throughout the trading day. AEK acts as a counterpart for buyers and sellers of the shares of the listed company.
We offer liquidity providing services on all Euronext markets, as such we also facilitate liquidity enhancement services for multiple clients.
AEK believes these services are very beneficial for the companies as well as the shareholders, as it:
- Prevents extreme volatility in the market;
- Guarantees the availability of a counterparty and therefore execution of a trade;
- Supports the order book volume.
Since the start of this service, AEK has maintained the highest NYSE Euronext A-ranking for its liquidity services.
