History
AEK and its predecessors have been active for more than 20 years. As a result of the MBO out of Van Doorn Securities, AEK is fully independent since 1999.
As of 2000, AEK is market leading broker in the micro-, small- and midcap segment. When liquidity providing services were added to the service portfolio in 2001, the integrated service offering made that numerous companies choose AEK as the premier service provider. The addition of capital market services such as placing agent and listing agent in 2007 only added to this unique service offering for small and midcap companies. As from 2009 AEK further strengthened its three main areas brokerage, research and corporate finance and is strongly positioned to assist its current and new clients to optimally benefit from the market opportunities currently arising.
